The short version
Pour Paws is a puzzle game. It has no accounts, no sign-in and no servers of its own. Your progress lives on your phone. The only company that receives anything about you is Google, through the ads in the game.
What the game itself collects
Nothing. Pour Paws does not collect, transmit or store any personal data of its own. It has no analytics, no crash reporting and no tracking.
Your progress — the level you are on, your stars, your coins, the decorations in Momo's Café, your Daily Brew streak and your settings — is saved only on your device, using Android's normal app storage. It is not backed up to us, because there is no “us” to back it up to. Uninstalling the app, or using Settings → Reset progress, deletes it.
What the ads collect
Pour Paws shows ads from Google AdMob. To do that, the Google Mobile Ads SDK may collect and use:
- your device's advertising ID,
- general device and app information (device model, operating system version, app version, language, coarse location derived from your IP address),
- how you interacted with an ad.
Google uses this to choose ads, to measure them and to prevent fraud. Google acts as an independent data controller for this. Their policies:
Pour Paws never sees this data itself.
Your choices
- In the European Economic Area, the UK and Switzerland, a consent form from Google appears the first time you open the game. You choose there whether ads can be personalised. You can change your mind at any time: Settings → Privacy choices.
- Everywhere, Android lets you reset or delete your advertising ID: Android Settings → Privacy → Ads.
- Rewarded ads are always optional. Nothing in the game is locked behind watching one.
Children
Pour Paws is intended for players aged 13 and over. It is not directed to children, and ad requests are not tagged as child-directed. The maximum ad content rating is set to teen. If you believe a child has used the app and you have a concern, contact us at the address below.
Permissions
The app asks for one Android permission: internet access, used only by the Google Mobile Ads SDK. The game itself plays completely offline.
Changes
If this policy changes, the date at the top changes with it, and the new version replaces this one at the same URL.
